AN EXCLUSIVE TOURIST AREA

The heat, the sun and the large sandy beaches of Malaga's 161 km long coastline attracts Danish tourists. The area has probably Europe's best climate.

In Malaga you will find everything from exclusive tourist resorts with hotels close to the beach for more pristine natural beaches.

With 40 golf clubs, the area is a paradise for golfers and there are a plethora of other activities and entertainment options; from horseback riding to hang gliding - and pure relaxation at the wellness hotel.

Malaga is a city with over half a million inhabitants and a new museum for the city's great son, Pablo Picasso - filled with the Picasso family's private collections of the master's work. There is more art on Pablo Ruiz Foundation in the artist's childhood home.

A roadtrip to experience Andalucia

Malaga invites you in for a unique and exciting roadtrip in the beautiful surroundings of Andalucia. It is easy and cheap to rent a car in Spain. Behind the city and the blue Mediterranean, the green mountains and white villages of Andalucia, exciting cities like Seville and Granada, the mountain town of Ronda with the area's largest bullring and the British Gibraltar-rock, intrigues your senses.

In the small town of Nerja, located an hour's drive from Malaga, are the massive stalactite caves, La cuevas de Nerja - a popular tourist attraction. The caves here are some of the largest and most beautiful caves in the world, which has a history going back more than 25,000 years ago - but they were discovered in 1959 by five boys.

Perfect for families with children

Without hesitation, bring your kids to Malaga - the charm and atmosphere impresses even the tiniest. In Spain, the culture is different than at home. It is by no means unusual that children sit at the restaurant late into the evening. Several attractions welcome children of all ages to a day with great fun - among other things, the Picasso Museum organizes workshops, where children can make their own art. Approximately 10 kilometers from Malaga lies the seaside town of Torremolinos. Here you will find a crocodile park, where children and adults can take guided tours and even hold a baby crocodile, whose courage is to it.

If you love a meridional atmosphere, then Malaga is ideal, and it also offers the best of historical attractions and culinary experiences in beautiful surroundings.
