New direct route to Naples from Aalborg Airport
The Amalfi Coast and Italian pizza in the streets of Naples are just around the corner when the airline Volotea, from the spring of 2022, opens a new direct route from Aalborg Airport to Naples – with one weekly departure from May to October.
Today, the Spanish airline Volotea, announced their new direct route from Aalborg to Naples, where they every Tuesday from the 3rd of May to the 4th of October 2022 will set course directly from Northern Denmark to Southern Italy.
Southern Italy is moving closer to Northern Denmark
Southern Italy is a popular destination for Danes – be it the beautiful coasts, the breathtaking culture or the exquisite wines that motivates one to book a trip, but with a direct route it now becomes even easier.
– A direct route from Aalborg to Naples opens a gateway to all of Southern Italy, which is why it is fantastic news and highly valued for the leisure travelers from Jutland. Southern Italy has long been in demand from Aalborg, and we look forward to an outstanding collaboration with Volotea, entering the Danish market for the first time with a direct scheduled flight. In the past years, charter guests have traveled from Aalborg Airport to amazing holiday experiences in Italy, but this is the first time that an airline has partnered with Aalborg Airport, with a direct route that offers attractive new holiday experiences.

From Naples’ city life to lush mountain formations on the Amalfi Coast
The new direct route to Naples not only offers an authentic Italian holiday in the largest city in Southern Italy, but also the opportunity to explore the stunning Amalfi Coast and beautiful Sorrento, to which the Danish travel agency, Nilles Rejser, offers eventful holiday packages.
